Very nice to see your blog – your comments sound fabulous – so kind and generous. Remember to be like this when you get to Secondary school too! Well done Mr G – what a lovely class!
I think you all deserve a pat on the back! Sounds awesome. Nice start to your blogging everyone! Love from Laura at the South West Grid for Learning 🙂
What a lovely idea! I bet you all went home smiling from ear to ear. Treasure that feeling and, if you ever have a bad day, remember one of the ‘pat on the backs’ you recieved today. You’ll soon be smiling again. 🙂
What a lovely way for the pupils to highlight the positive things other pupils do without having to feel embarressed or shy. and what lovely comments made by pupils well done mr g
I’ve always loved this activity! I left teaching this year and this is one of the things I miss. Not all children say such thoughtful things. Can be a bit hit and miss!
Glad Hazel pupils are so lovely! Stay respectful of each other and of your teacher. Teachers like him don’t come along that often!
I think this a great way for the children to express their feelings and demonstrate their kindness towards each other. Well done Mr G….. Ed thinks you are a “fab teacher”.

We loved reading the 4 messages that Josh had and thought the “pat on the back” was a lovely idea. We think that this blog is a fantastic idea, a great way to see what Hazel class have been doing during the week and being able to interact via a Blog. Keep up the good work Hazel class.
How sweet – what a simple yet lovely idea. I will pass this on to our Year 3 teacher. (sharing great ideas is what it’s all about) I’m sure they loved their stickers, and looked forward to taking them home to share with their families.
I thought “a pat on the back” was a great idea. It was lovely reading Amy’s messages. One of the comments “you brighten up my day”, certainly brightened up mine! Well done and “a pat on the back” to Mr G and Hazel Class.
What a fantastic way to end the first half of term. You’ve obviously had a great start to the year Hazel Class, now go and enjoy the half-term holiday !
Love the blog idea! Hopefully we can see more of what happens in class. Scarlett had some lovely comments from the ‘pat the back’ game, she is so lucky to have such lovely friends at School.

Great idea Mr G! To know that you are respected amongst your peers at such an impressionable age must be great.
