A few years back I had the pleasure of watching Paul Cookson perform some of his poems in a video conference for Poetry Day; it was amazing! He gave his poems so much life and greater meaning than the words alone. I love the poem he inspired you to write, I wonder what it would be like if you performed it?
Hi Tom- I’m loving your poem. It is really funny and has fantastic illustrations too! I love the idea of the rabbit playing the trombone and then begging to come home! Maybe you could make a movie/ animation of your poem. I’d love to see it!
Your poem did make me laugh, as I imagined this very naughty rabbit that you have no control over! It would be great to see you perform it with some actions. Great work and I’m glad you enjoyed the poetry day!
Tom – I loved the poem which I think shows great imagination. My favourite illustration is the rabbit in the balaclava. I get the feeling there might be a sequel as I think the rabbit is likely to get up to more mischief – he doesn’t sound as though he will suddenly start behaving himself!
When your rabbit pretends to be a singer what are his favourite songs to sing?
Perhaps he could audition for Britain’s Got Talent-a dog won it last year so I reckon he stands a good chance!!
Sarah again! Ive commented on your synchronised swimming post and there both great! 😀
This is a poem i take it and i dont know weather its yours or not but you have written it out brilliantly! The drawings are great if there yours! 😛 😀 XXXXXXXXX

His favourite type of song is lullaby’s, even though he acts tough! He is definitely thinking about Britain’s Got Talent!!
